The Danish Leitra is one of the most recognized velomobiles in the world. It is unique in the fact that it uses a fairing that is made partially of fabric.

The Leitra is built on a chromoly tube chassis with carbon fiber leaf front suspension. The front wheels are not enclosed inside the shell but are covered by a set of wheel pants. Leitras are made to custom fit the individual buyer but a sliding boom is optional. They use underseat steering and come with a lighting system and a SRAM 3x8 DualDrive.

Leitras have been on the market for many years now and have quite a loyal following.
